A series that I always try to recomend when ask me about one is this: The Handmaid's Tale.
Wich, is a northamerican TV series created by Bruce Miller and based in the novel of Margaret Atwood, that has the same name. The program is starring by Elisabeth Moss, whose performance thoughtout the show is truly magnificent and admirable.
Specially, looks the life of Offer (Elisabeth Moss), who tell the whole story by herself. She is a handmaid that must serves to the Commander and his wife. Handmaids are assigned to bear children for elite couples that have trouble conceiving. So, she is one of many women forced into sexual slavery strugling to survive in Gilead. But, Offers is not her real name, because Handmaid names consist of the word “of” followed by the name of the Handmaid’s Commander.
This serie blow up my mind. It's that kind of show where everything is perfectly well done and thought out. Every single frame, shot and camara movement has a propose.
I liked because, despite leading us to a dystopia, we can recognize violence that does correspond to the real world, and that really is terrifying but it't fascinating how the serie can generate that.
Well, you already know it: ¡You have to watch it!
