A freezing cold moment

Well, the history of this picture remount me to my last holidays in San Pedro de Atacama. This travel was planned a long time ago with my two friends that I love so much. The day of this photo we had to take a tour at 4 am to Geysers del Tatio  it has 4290 m.a.s.l. The night before that day  we stayed up late hanging out  with the people of  the hostal.  So that dawn was difficult for us.  The temperature in the early mornings can be -20°C, acording to the guides. Because of that, when we arrived to the hot springs of the place, it was freezing cold. The worst moment was when we had to put on swimsuits. So, in the picture you can see my friend Gaby and me tryng to hide the cold that we felt. It was taken by my friend Mane,  who didn't want bath  in the natural pool. I chose this photo because represent an iconic moment of our travel. I remember that in that momement we hesitate to get into the water, but finally we decided  to do...

Gaspar the dog

Gaspar came into our lives in the march of 2018. I just started my first year of college and, how usually, I was staying in Santiago to come to my home at weekends. So one day, I arrived to my house and there he was. My mom and my brother had decided to adopt him. He was a very small criature. At first, he slept in my bed. But he grow up so fast, that he couldn't stay sleeping there. Well the true is that my mom always said to us that "the dog has to sleep outside". She didn't want a dog inside of the house, so we had to let him sleep in the garden and also buy him a house.  I have to say that, since he was so big of height but just a puppy in his mind, he was  a "bit of a mess" for the "order of the house". He liked bite anything that he saw and pee everywhere.  As time passed he learned to behave a little. He didn't pee everywhere, just outside. He knows he is the king of the family, He loves playing all the time with everybody:...

Ok, I said it: I love my laptop

I never liked the idea of being connected to the technology all the time, but unconciusly and without noticing I started to do it. The first thing that I do in the mornings is check all my socials medias and go online  because I like to always stay informed. So now I have to accept that, and  I  can say that the laptop is one of my favourites technology object. My last laptop  was with me (and my brother, because we have to share it) about 7 years. You can imagine that in the last time it became so slow that I really hated it. When we started online classes the situation was turned unbearable. That's how my mom finally made a big effort to give me a new one. My boyfriend (who know so much more than me about technology things) helped me to choose the perfect laptop for me, balancing price with quality. Now, I have  my laptop about one month and something more. I love it. I never had something so fast and good.  I can do a lot of things, like listen to...

Why I chose Journalism

When I was a little girl I always liked the idea of travel around the world and in my head this dream was possible through journalism. Then, I grew up, and understood that the journalism was more than that. My dream changed. Today I hope that I can contribute to change the communications world considering their social responsability. Starting my university life meant an opening of the world to me. I met a lot of new friends from everywhere and from all social classes. That diversity made me learn new ways of life. Now I am in my third year of college. Regarding my career, a lot of my expectations changed. Initially, I preferred the international journalism, today I prefer the investigation area. I believe that our likes are constantly transforming in relation with our new learnings.

My Auto-biography

I was born in Santiago in 1999, but I just lived three years there, so I don't considerate this place my native land because I grow up in Melipilla. That is a small city, at about 70 km of capital city. Even the short distance, this town has a really different way of living if we comparate with the life in Santiago.  The principal economical activity here is the farming, because we have a lot of fertile fields to plant. Also, the people live slowly, all the places are near between them and the most of families know each other. Little town, big hell. I studied all my school education in the Colegio Melipilla. I graduated in 2017 and  in  2018 I started my studies of journalism in the Universidad de Chile. I am now in my third year. My nuclear family are my mom, my dad, my two brothers and my sister. In my home I live with my mom and just my two brothers because my sister lives in Valparaiso. My favorite pastime is the basketball. I practice this sport about 8...
